Pareidolia, the other side is calling

Pareidolia, ghosts and spirits.

Pareidolia is considered a psychological phenomenon, which allows us to obtain significant signals, or commonly called, stimulus from images or sounds.

The finest examples of this kind of perceptions are classified under the Name of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) or ITC (intercommunication with Spirits or Goths)

Internet is full of sites claiming to explain this phenomena, also the latest researches made by quantum physicists, Micio Kaku, gives as general idea, that there are many different universes in this world, these universes are invisible at first sight but explicable and tangible upon a closer look.

In reality, phenomena as pareidolia or spiritualism and mediumship, are often the result of a deep trauma, such as the loss of a child.

This strong traumas, enable in some way links and connections in our brain as of yet untouched, The consquence is a strong sensitivity to strange phenomena unknown or simply ignored in a different state of mind.

In my research and effort to find a logical explication to this reality I had the chance to get in touch with different figures, who apparently, in their naivety, claim to be in touch with at least one of this universes, or in some cases simply to be in touch with the other side.

I runned also a deep research regarding ITC, and I followed a technique which, according to the latest theory, enables the vision thru pictures, made with a normal camera, of people or entity form the other side.

So far in my research there is nothing tangible from a scientific point of view, in other words even though I obtained significant results, there remain doubts that this manifestations of spirits from another universe are in reality a simple coincidence, a result of a unique combination of movement, lights and environment stimulus which create these images.

The fact remains, these images are really clear, some of these pictures have been retouched, for example by applying the unsharp mask in photoshop to enhance the lines, or adding a darker mask to see better the shape formed by the water, but the retouch or process made with Photoshop is non longer different by a normal post-production made for a model, in other words the picture is exactly as you see it.

For a long time we have been forced to think that any kind of phenomena can be classified in two main categories, miracles, as manifestation of God and disgrace or enchantments as manifestation of Evil, this is a very simple definition of a deeper and more complicated issue.

It seems that in this universe there are strong forces and lines of power running around us, examples are the holy places, see Međugorje or Lourdes, in opposition to these amazing "miracles" there are minor “ones” in other words, manifestations of supernatural cases; for these "minor" events the catholic church has a specific "squad" specialized in investigation of paranormal activities around the globe.

I had the pleasure to talk with a Jesuit, father Franco, during a conference made by Edda Cattani about these issues, Edda Cattani is the founder of an association called the association for hope and survival, after the loss of her child she and her husband founded this "movement" to investigate, but more over, to give reasonable explications to these phenomena.

I was astonished by the fact that such a conference, where journalists, mediums and spiritualists were discussing the possibility, that these "manifestations of spirits" could be in reality classified as manifestations of God.

So my question was very direct; Padre Franco, Why does the church, but especially Jesuits, host such a conference?

Franco told me: We cannot denied the existence of these phenomena which are tangible and real outside of Mother Church, so far we can only investigate and keep a closer eye on these "alternative situations", a closer look will allow the church and the world to better understand if God is behind these paranormal activity. A Simple answer for such a serious question.

There is also an underground world, were people are looking desperately for a contact with the other side, to have information and answers from their beloved passed away. An example is M.C; he preferred not to mention his real name.

M.C. Verona, Italy. He lost his daughter less then two years ago.

He is not working since the loss; he lost his job, his house, and divorced and now lives as he can, asking for help time to time from his closest friends. He told me, I don't really find any reasons to live this life anymore, I just think all day long of my daughter and the only thing matters to me, is come back home and do my ritual, call my demon and ask how things are going for her in heaven.

He claimed to be in psychical contact with Murmur a demon who is able to talk with dead people.

The horn in the picture is a horn he claimed to be donated by Leonardo to him personally.

Leonardo is another Demon, the one who introduced M.C. to Murmur.

He asked me not to include his face in the picture for obvious reasons.

So far this is not the only extreme way to understand and investigate, or simply try to get in touch with the other side.

Padre Franco said: Most of the people who have lived such a loss as the death of a child, often volunteer to help people with a terminal illness, or they volunteer to collect money to organize events and conferences to help less fortunate people in the world, in any case it seems that a trauma so strong can cause a hard research in matter of love, most of them are simply looking for a way to explain what was the sparkle lighting their lives with love.

In fact here the case of Elisabetta, Pechiera Borromeo, Milan, Italy

She lost her young kid in 2011, she wasn't a strong women, she said during the interview, I never been able to be strong and determined on a project outside of my private life, I could get very worry for a simple sneeze or a missed phone call, right after the death of Andrea, my child, I felt like I had to do something to help other people, she claimed to get stronger thanks to the spirit of Andrea.

In some way, she said to me, I feel as Andrea would like to continue this project and I cannot stop.

She open an association called Un pozzo per Andrea, A well for andrea since 6 months, Elisabetta collected 50.000 euro in donation and she is drilling the third well to provide water for the population in local areas of Ethiopia.

Or the above mentioned

Edda Cattani, Abano Terme, Padua Italy, after losing two sons she and her husband founded an association whit the ultimate target to support parents who lost their children. The name chosen, perfectly describe the kind of " work in the field " done by these rescuers.

She said during my meeting, the worst thing that could happen to a parent is loosing a child, loosing two is unthinkable... she lost two kids and she still fighting not only for her surviving but to help others find their way.

In addition we find other people who believe that the other side is closer then we think, for example

Alessandra, Vicolungo, Novara, Italy her son died 13 years ago, since that day she claimed to be in touch with the spirit of her dead son Fabrizio, in the beginning psychically and then via radio.

Her job is very simple, thanks to facebook she opened a group, most of the people in the group are parents who lost their children, she records and publishes messages for these parents, messagges received by from their souls, she says.

There is no fee to pay and no money is required not even favors for these messages. She does it for free, she said to me during my meeting in her house, I don't really know if all of these things are real or not, I don't even ask my self if I am a medium or not, but out there, in this world there are so many scams or people taking advantage of other people's grief that I think if only one would do a good thing and will do it for free, there is a chance for this parents to better understand their tragedy.

Or Luigi, who claims to be in touch with all sort and kinds of spirits, he told me after my father died I was looking for an answer and I went to England to a conference about spiritualism, my intention was simply to better understand this reality apparently so far from us, and there I discovered that I have the power to feel the other side, I can see spirits, talk to them, and help other people to better understand such a reality.

I have to tell you that in this article I didn't mention charlatans or "clowns" who claim to be sensitive or medium, and I have met some, all the people mentioned here, attracted my attention because they never asked for money.

Padre Franco told me also, that doesn't matter how and why we move in a certain direction, as long as we do it in the name of love we do it in the name of God.

People may think that this is just a strange or marginal movement, but actually it has a wide following.

What else can I say about it, I can only believe that in some way we live in a world still undiscovered, during my research I bumped in to a documentary in internet about the discovery of America, they said that when the sailing vessels from Cristoforo Colombo arrived closer to the bank of the actual Colombia, the inhabitants couldn't really see it, they were able to see the movement on the water produced by the vessels but not the vessels themselves, so the medicine man of the community sat on the shore for almost three days looking at the ocean and all of the sudden the vessels appeared in his sight.

It seems that what we perceive in this world, is the result of our visual memory, and of course following this logic, if we don't have a clue on how a spirit is made we cannot even see it. Logical answer to a deep question.
